About

Clear immigration direction, without the noise

PathwayMatch exists to answer the two questions that stall most people at the very start: which NOC am I, and which program actually fits me.

What is PathwayMatch?

PathwayMatch is an independent, informational platform that helps people identify their likely National Occupational Classification (NOC) code, the Canadian immigration programs that may match their profile, and the gaps they would need to close. It is not a government service and does not provide legal advice.

Why we built it

The immigration process rewards people who understand it and quietly penalizes those who do not. Two people with nearly identical backgrounds can end up on very different timelines simply because one picked the right occupation code and program early, and the other guessed. Official information exists, but it is dense, scattered, and written for administrators rather than applicants.

PathwayMatch was built to close that gap. It takes the same public frameworks that shape eligibility and turns them into something you can act on: a shortlist of likely NOCs, a set of programs worth a closer look, and a plain list of what your profile still needs.

What we do

  • Suggest the NOC codes most likely to match your real job duties, not just your title.
  • Surface immigration programs that tend to fit profiles like yours, plus weaker-fit and longer-term options.
  • Highlight missing requirements, such as an education assessment or a language result.
  • Explain each result in plain language, so you understand the reasoning and can verify it.

What we do not do

We do not give legal advice, represent anyone, or make decisions about a case. We are not a law firm, an immigration consultancy, or a government body. Our results are a starting point for your own research and for conversations with licensed professionals, never a substitute for them.

Independence and accuracy

PathwayMatch is independent and privately operated. We keep our guidance grounded in public classification and program frameworks, and we revise content as those frameworks change. When something is uncertain or subject to change, we say so rather than presenting a guess as a fact. You can read more about our approach on our methodology page.

Your privacy

The assessment runs in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to or stored on our servers, because the core tool does not use one. See our privacy policy for the details, and our disclaimer for the limits of any guidance here.
